The 150 hours of free Entrepreneurship Skill Development Programme on Digital Photography and Photoshop organised by the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) in association with UB Photos Centre of Alternative Vocation, a wing of UB Photos, the premier Photo News Agency of Northeast India, and sponsored by Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India at the office of Golaghat Dist. Journalist Association was concluded today. A total of thirty students have participated in this vocational training. The goal of the training is to develop employable skills to unemployed youths so that they can earn their livelihood through it. A meeting was held to mark the conclusion of the programme and it was attended by Bismita Gogoi, MLA of Khumtai LAC, Achinta Kumar Barua, senior faculty and programme coordinator of ESDP for IIE, Santanu Deori of DIC Golaghat, Dwipen Dutta, President AAJU Golaghat Dist. Committee, senior journalist Apurba Ballav Goswami and Utpal Baruah from UB Photos. Speaking on the occasion Bismita Gogoi said that such vocational workshop will encourage self employment and help in solving the glaring problem of unemployment in the state to a large extent. She further said that she had also personally undertaken training at IIE which highly benefited her in later year. So she expressed hope that the trainees in the programme would reap benefit from the program that will help them in their career. Later she distributed certificates among the participants.
