Wi-Fi Internet Service in Press Club premises
The Wi-Fi internet service will be available for journalists Monday onwards in Guwahati Press Club. The specific service, offered by Java Internet, will be launched on on June 6. The member-journalists can use the facility free of cost any day. This wireless service will also be available in all laptops taken inside the press club premises.

Three city based journalists have been selected for 4th GNRC media fellowship programme. Initiated by GNRC Hospitals in association with Guwahati Press Club, the media fellowships have gone to Prasanta Mena (NE Television), Arup Sandilya (Dainik Janambhumi) and Hemen Barman (Dainik Agradoot). Electronic Media Forum Asom to meet on Oct 10 at Guwahati Press Club Guwahati: Newly launched ‘Electronic Media Forum Asom’ has organized a meeting at Guwahati Press Club on October 10 to discuss its future course of actions. The meeting will start at 10.30 am.
