More than 24 hours have passed but the information and where about of Arunachal Pradesh’s Chief Minister is yet to be found. Some sources from the CM office said that he his safe but no one could find where is Dorji Khandu,CM of Arunachal Pradesh.
Three helicopters and more than 300 army people are being engaged in the search operation for the CM. Apart from Indian Army, Indian Air force, Sasastra Seema Bal (SSB) Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and others are also actively engaged in search operation of chief minister. Communication has been made with the government of Bhutan and they have provided permission for search and rescue in there areas. Meanwhile two union ministers have reached Guwahati to get updates about the entire incident.
Bad weather has become hurdled this morning as search operation got some challenges due to this. But as search operation is on it is expected that the information would be collected soon. It is to be mentioned that Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has also come into the scene as they have engaged satellites to take picture and help in the search operation of missing CM.
Yesterday there was confusion in the afternoon with claims made by Arunachal Governor and then CM’s office and Defence spokesperson. But the fact till now is that there is no correct information about the helicopter for which operation to find the CM and others are on. It has bought confusion amongst the people of the region as there were different comments from different sources. As the search operation is on in full swing, it is expected that latest information and authentic information would be available soon.

It's same like the scenerio of Bin Laden. Wheathr US government got him alive or dead none knows. But Obama knows very well dead Bin Laden s very mush riskier issue than the alive one. So speculation is there that he might had been caught much before by bribing some agents of ISI; same way whether Khandu had been kidnapped by NSCN (K) or not, none can confirm excpet the Indian government. The rest is just speculation and rumr. may be.

Properties worth Rs 1 crore has been reduced to ashes when a major fire broke out in Nalbari town on Monday. The local businessman injured in the shocking shoot out in Dhubri is battling for life on Monday. Police have yet to nab the miscreants involved in the incident that rocked the district hours after the post Republic Day. The Delhi government has agreed to set up a statute of Chaolung Sukapha in the national capital. The assurance came from Delhi Chief minister Sheila Dixit who talked to her Assam counterpart Tarun Gogoi. Before that Gogoi in a letter requested Dixit to consider the proposal to set up the first Ahom king in the national capital. The initiative assumes significance after the government invited unprecedented criticism for not giving due status to the Ahom king.
Local residents in Goalpara district beat him a suspected militant to death on Saturday night. Three motorcycles suspected to have been used by the militants were recovered from the area.One bomb is suspected to be concealed in the MLA's house and a bomb disposal squad of the police reached the place, they added. Another IED went off at Jaleshwar High School. The other explosions in Goalpara district took place at Moriakichi Bazar, Gaurnagar, Porahita and Jamadar Bazar areas. A series of low intensity blasts has forced the security forces to fan in lower Assam on Sunday. Suspected ULFA militants on Saturday night set off eight IED blasts in a space of 90 minutes targeting the house of an AIDUF MLA and crowded markets in Goalpara and Dhubri districts. There, is, however, no report of casualty.ULFA, along with some other insurgents group, gave a call for boycotting the Republic Day celebrations. The first blast took place inside the residential complex of Moinuddin Ahmed, MLA of All India Democratic United Front, at Jaleshwar in Goalpara district.
