Operation CM for missing Khandu


More than 24 hours have passed but the information and where about of Arunachal Pradesh’s Chief Minister is yet to be found. Some sources from the CM office said that he his safe but no one could find where is Dorji Khandu,CM of Arunachal Pradesh.


Three helicopters and more than 300 army people are being engaged in the search operation for the CM. Apart from Indian Army, Indian Air force, Sasastra Seema Bal (SSB) Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and others are also actively engaged in search operation of chief minister. Communication has been made with the government of Bhutan and they have provided permission for search and rescue in there areas. Meanwhile two union ministers have reached Guwahati to get updates about the entire incident.


Bad weather has become hurdled this morning as search operation got some challenges due to this. But as search operation is on it is expected that the information would be collected soon. It is to be mentioned that Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has also come into the scene as they have engaged satellites to take picture and help in the search operation of missing CM.


Yesterday there was confusion in the afternoon with claims made by Arunachal Governor and then CM’s office and Defence spokesperson. But the fact till now is that there is no correct information about the helicopter for which operation to find the CM and others are on. It has bought confusion amongst the people of the region as there were different comments from different sources. As the search operation is on in full swing, it is expected that latest information and authentic information would be available soon.

It's same like the scenerio of Bin Laden. Wheathr US government got him alive or dead none knows. But Obama knows very well dead Bin Laden s very mush riskier issue than the alive one. So speculation is there that he might had been caught much before by bribing some agents of ISI; same way whether Khandu had been kidnapped by NSCN (K) or not, none can confirm excpet the Indian government. The rest is just speculation and rumr. may be.

Normal situation prevailed on Republic Day on Saturday. Trains and air services operated as usual though long distance and city private buses kept off the roads as the transport operators gave holiday to their staff on account of R-Day. National flags were seen fluttering in banks, educational institutions, etc., remained closed. Buses, private taxis and autorickshaws of state-run Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) plied as usual. A powerful Improvised Explosive Devices was recovered ahead of the Republic Day celebrations in Darrang district on Thursday.The bomb was found near the Mangaldoi police station and Republic Day parade ground in the morning. Guwahati Police have arrested 8 persons including a Mizoram forest department official and recovered some rare species of snake in Guwahati. Chief minister Tarun Gogoi said that the Army court had taken a lenient view of the crime. He told reporters in Jorhat that he would urge the defence ministry to review the case to ensure proper justice to the 19-year-old victim. According to Gogoi, the army court has been insensitive to the seriousness of the crime and has taken a lenient view.He said that imprisonment for only three months is far less than the heinous crime committed by the armyman. Delhi police have arrested a local youth on Tuesday charging him with beating up an Assamese girl in the national capital on Monday. The incident took place near the Dwaraka metro station after the victim met one of her friends in the evening. Immediately after she met her friend, a youth called her and as he looked at him, the youth started beating up her and left the spot.
