Agartala: Tripura government has decided to impose total lockdown in the state with effect from July 27 as COVID19 positive cases continue to rise in the state. Also, the Tripura state government would start conducting a door-to-door survey throughout the state from Monday to detect Covid-19 cases. The lockdown, to be started from 5 am on July 27 (Monday), will continue till July 30.
The home antigen test will be started on Monday. The Anganwari & ANM workers, who will be involved in the process, will be given an extra Rs 1,000, the chief minister said.
The chief minister hoped the people of Tripura will respond well to the lockdown like the previous lockdowns imposed in the state. The chief minister appealed to the people of the state to abide by the lockdown norms.
