SOS Children's Village is Heaven in the Earth

"SOS Childrens' Village is an heaven in the Earth, everything is special here. The love and affection, care and guidance Children get here is special, it's a blessings from almighty to us.", told Enamul Hoque, a Inmate at Village in Hojai.

Enuthusatic Enamul Hoque, who secured 63%     from Arts stream in HS Final Exam and highest in the village shared his story. He said  Mother's at Village  told me how at the very tender age of three days, I was brought here in the Village. I got very loving care here, it is refreshing staying here and enjoying each moment of life.

Talking about his studies, Hoque said his trarget is to pursue B.A(Hons) in Foreign lanuages and BBA simultaneously, for that he will appear in entrance examination at Jawaharlal Nehru University and Jamia Milia, Delhi.

Hoque belief's only bookish knowledge is not enough, along with studies other extra-curricular activities are also important in shaping a students career.

Khireswari Rajbongshi scored 76 % highest from the village in High School Leaving Certificate Examination 2020.She said,"I am proud and thankful to be part of SOS Children Village, Hojai." "I had been brought up in SOS Childrens' Village since the age of five,   I never felt I am an orphan, SOS family always took care of us and supported us in every endeavour."

 She said.Rajbongshi  asserted marticulation is a just a beginning towards a milestone to achieve , She have taken admission in Concept junior  College, Nagaon in Science stream and her aim is to become an astronaut. 

"We are delighted that our Childrens' performed well in board examination this year. This had been possible due to continuous support by mothers, co-workers. He said SOS Childrens' Village,Hojai expresses  gratitude to everyone for their continuous support and motivation", said Paresh Badyakar, Village Director.

Notably,Inmates of SOS Children's Village in Hojai performed well in Higher Secondary as well as Marticulation examination. The results of which were declared in June. Total  seven students of the village  appeared in the HS Final Examination 2020 out of which four secured first Division, two secured Second Division and one secured third division.
In Matriculation total sixteen appeared five secured first division, six secured second Division, one secured third division.

Hojai: More than 2000 people took to the streets in Nilbagan area in Hojai on Monday evening demanding justice for the Asifa Bano along with other victims of sexual crimes across the country. Hojai: The Hojai police have arrested 3 people for using false documents to update NRC. Identified as Subhas Das, Raju Das and Hemanta Nath, they were arrested before sending to jail on Saturday acting on a complaint of using false legacy data to the NRC officials. HOJAI: The Doboka police in Hojai is looking for Jotan Debnath a day after he tried to kill his niece for failing to sexually exploit her. The incident took place on Tuesday at a tiny hamlet in Doboka were Juton tried to rape the minor girl in the evening in the absence of her parents.
