Protest march in Nilbagan

Hojai: More than 2000 people took to the streets
in Nilbagan area in Hojai on Monday evening demanding justice for the Asifa Bano along with other victims of sexual crimes across the country.

With banners and play cards, the youths took out the candle light march at the initiatives of the local youths of Nilbagan which ended at the Tinali.

The protesters shouted slogans demanding justice for the Unnai and Kathua victims saying that the perpetrators must be sent to the gallows.

“We demand Justice. Asifa and other victims must get the justice. We won't relent until and unless those responsible are not given capital punishment,” said a protester.
