Neha Das is an inspiration for youths

"If You have a Burning Desire to Do Something then no obstacles can halt you back", Hojai's Neha Das has proved this proverb right. 

Neha Das a Student of Bibekananda Junior College in Hojai, inspite suffering from chronic  'rhumetoid arithrithis' has cleared the Higher Secondary examination with third division in Arts stream, the results of which were announced on Saturday by Assam Higher Secondary Education Council.

Neha aims was to continue her studies whatever may be the situation. She is a exemplary inspiration all the youths, that if you have strong will-power you can achieve your dreams without losing hope.

She is a resident of Bishnupally in Hojai and the elder daughter of Late Dilip Das and Ruma Das. She have a younger sister Rishita Das.

Young Neha Das has secured 44.4 percentage marks. She has obtained English 57, Alternative English 57, Education 30, Political Science 39 and Logic & Philosophy 39, inspite facing difficulty to walk and write properly.

Talking to this Correspondent, Neha Das said,"Till Class 8, everything was fine but after that suddenly things changed".

She said," My parents tried to do whatever was  possible for them to cure my disease, even in this financial crisis they somehow  managed to do my treatment in Bangalore in 2015, where while returning back to Assam, My father had a brain stroke and We lost him forever in between this stressful situation."

"My mother and younger sister are my backbone they always give me inspiration to study."Neha added.

Neha says She have tried her best but she is not satisfied by her results,now she desires to study taking English subject as honours and her aim is to become a good  Public resource manager.

She said that as she cannot walk and even cannot write properly, in her daily routine she studies her academic books and as per hobby likes to read novels, loves to hear music but doesnot have a tevelsion set at home and she use to love to dance but now this not possible.

She have thanked Principal of Bibekananda Junior College Biplop Acharjee, Kumkum Laskar and teachers for providing her free education and helped her to take the examination centre on exam days.

Neha's mother Ruma Das,said," Due to financial crisis her treatment has been stopped and now they have moved to ayurvedic treatment."

Principal of Bibekananda Junior College Biplop Acharjee,  said," Neha is a hard-working and sincere girl, she cleared her matriculation from Bibekananda Academy securing first division with two letters in Computer Science and English and  has cleared Higher Secondary from our college securing third division".

"We have tried as much as possible  to support and help her as per our capacity, inspite suffering from acute rhumetoid arithitis, Neha has a strong will power and dedication toward's her studies, whatever she has achieved, we are proud of her "  Acharjee added.

Talented  Neha is a living inspiration for the society but due to financial crisis her further  studies and treatment have stucked. Her family has a hope that someone will come up for their help.

In a sensational incident, one Ramanand Bora (20) was killed by his neighbour at Dakhin Bidyanagar in Hojai on Friday night. As per information, neighbour Deepak Rajkhowa repeatedly stabbed Ramanand with a sharp weapon.
