BPF, BJP alliance in LS election

Kokrajhar:  Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) chief Hagrama Mohilary said that BPF-BJP alliance will continue in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the state. BPF will put its candidate in Kokrajhar Lok Sabha seat only and extending support to the alliance partners in other seats of the state.

Mohilary informed that BPF is fully prepared to contest the election in Kokrajhar only and party’s candidate will be winning with people’s support. BPF party is supporting alliance partnar BJP in other seats.

He has claimed that if alliance comes in between BJP, BPF, AGP in the state, then BPF is getting one, AGP getting 2, and BJP getting 10 seats in the elections. Congress may get one seat in the state.

Kokrajhar: A sea of humanity is seeing along the Samoka Irrigation sluice gate River bank to participate in the community fishing near Bishmuri in Kokrajhar district on Thursday. KOKRAJHAR: The All BTC Minority Students Union (ABMSU) has demanded proper implementation of the 6th Clause of the historic Assam Accord with letter and spirit. ABMSU also demands clarification of the terms 'indigenous' (Khilongia) which has been marked in the Assam Accord. KOKRAJHAR: In a shocking incident, a mother sold her own two and six months old baby boy to a couple of Sarupetat due to severe poverty. The incident took place at Sasargaon village under Raniganja police outpost along the Kokrajhar and Dhubri border area.
