Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal is meeting prime minister Narendra Modi and party president Amit Shah to get the seal of approval in the cabinet expansion move.
According to senior BJP leaders in New Delhi those looking after the north eastern affairs of the party have forwarded the list to Amit Shah, who is expected to sign the papers in presence of Modi.
Modi had yet to finalise the time to meet Sonowal in view of his tight schedule on Monday. At any moment, Modi is expected to meet Sonowal and Himanta Biswa Sarma, who has been camping in the capital with bye chief minister.
Just before the final touch, Sonowal gad called up AGP leaders Atul Bora and Keshab Mahanta asking the duo to cone to New Delhi on Monday.
