Community fishing at Samoka River in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar: A sea of humanity is seeing along the Samoka Irrigation sluice gate River bank to participate in the community fishing near Bishmuri in Kokrajhar district on Thursday. The community fishing saw like festivity since early morning.

BTC executive member Rajiv Brahma has opened the Samoka Irrigation sluice gate in the morning and then people thronged at the River bank for fishing.

Many people expressed their happiness for the opportunity for fishing every year at the Samoka River.
