UPA Govt. and State Govt. squarely responsible for blasts – Advani

Senior BJP Leader Lal Krishna Advani addressing a media conference at Guwahati blamed squarely the UPA Government at the centre and the State Government after visiting the serial blast sites in Kachari, Fancy Bazar and Ganeshguri that claimed 41 lives alone in the city. Advani stated that it is the deadliest attack in the recent times, as involvement of external elements cannot be denied. He went on to add the nature of explosions is evident use of huge RDX, this blast nowhere resemble the country made bombs.

Earlier this morning Advani visited the blast sites at Kachari, Fancy Bazar and Ganeshguri also took note of victims of blast and injured at the MMC and GMC Hospital. He appealed to the people of Assam to maintain peace and not to involve in rampaging public properties. He questioned Prime Minister's moral responsibility being a Rajya Sabha member from Assam. Leaving aside all his prior appointment the BJP leader rushed Assam to take stock of situation. Replying to a question Advani said the cause behind the attack is directly linked to exodus illegal Bangladeshi migrants in Assam as a whole in the country. Attacking the UPA Govt. on total failure in giving security to the people he said "Internal security of the nation at this hour is a big question". Stringent law like POTA could have been authentically useful but hard luck that it was stripped. He agreed on reviving POTA to tackle growing terrorist activists and breaking down terrorism frame work.

Mean while death tool has risen to 77 at the time of filing this report. Reportedly two full pick up van of skulls, man meat and dried burnt bodies, skeletons were removed last night from GMCH. National Security Guard (NSG) officials have already rushed to the various spot to collect samples to report the nature of the blast. State police have confirmed the use of RDX. On suspect behind the terror attack involvement of Jehadi elements is always possible though ULFA rule out their role cannot be denied said the former Deputy PM.

Union Home Minister Shri Shivraj Patil has already flown from Delhi to visit the blast site. Mr. Patil will chair an emergency security meeting in Raj Bhawan as informed by Raj Bhawan officials. He will also take stock of entire situation. Senior communist leader Smt. Bindra Karat is holding a rally in the heart of the city. There are continuous flow central political leaders in Guwahati today. Prime Minister Dr. Monmohan Singh is scheduled to visit Assam tomorrow. Once again the political blame game is on. The BJP learder LK Advani leading the score. What has he done when he was the Home Minister during the five years of NDA rule at the centre? Neither the Congress nor the BJP has done anything to deal with illegal Bangladeshi immigrants. Why they condemn only after every bomb blast? Time has come that the people of india never vote for BJP or the congress. After all, both the parties have failed miserably deal with the problems of Bangladeshi immigrants.
