Focus on Anukul philosophy

TANGLA: Nearly two thousand disciples of Thakur Anukulchandra from various parts of the state thronged Satsang Vihar in Tangla on Sunday to mark the 31st Foundation Day.
 Apart from religious songs and prayers throughout the day, a discussion on Thakur’s philosophy and universal peace was also held on the occasion.

 Retired Principal of V.B.P High School,Kopati, Pradip Malakar presided over the function flanked by Dr. N.C Mitra who delivered sermon on the ocassion.

“Satsang Vihar is a movement that promotes amity and tolerance among people, irrespective of their religious affiliations. Thakur's philosophy on the values of humanity is extremely relevant in today's world," Pradip Malakar said.
The Tangla Satsang Vihar was inaugurated by Acharya Dev Sri Sri Dada way back in March 1987.

To encourage students of the Bhergaon subdivision ,the Bhergaon regional committee of All Adivasi Students' Association of Assam (AASAA) felicitated 50 students of the who had passed this year’s HSLC and HS examinations conducted by different boards at a function organised at Sikaribangla LP school on Wednesday. A person allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of Rangapara-Rangia passenger train at Purandia on the outskirts of Tangla at about 10 pm. The deceased has been identified as Kushal Bania (25). His head was beheaded in the incident. Reportedly he was depressed due to personal issues. He is a resident of Ratanpur village under Tangla PS.

Reteirating its various demands the Anganwadi helpers and workers association under Bhergaon ICDS protested wearing black badges on Monday infront of CDPO office, Bhergaon from 10 am to 12 pm. The protesters demanded hike in wages, extra facilities for the workers and helpers. The protesters also submitted a memorandum to the PM Modi through the office of CDPO Bhergaon. In yet another case of reckless driving of two wheelers by teenagers one Jacob Bedi (17) lost his life in a road accident near Indian Oil Depot Tangla on Monday at about 8.45 am. The 61 battalion of the Seema Sasastra Bal (SSB) distributed orange saplings among the villagers at Boha in Arunachal Pradesh as a part of its community welfare programme recently.
