Exploitation! Probe underway to ascertain
Margherita Sub Divisional officer(Civil) Bikram Koiri is probing into the allegations of exploitation on the workers of the Segunbari Tea Factory by proprietor Gautam Beria.
According to allegations, the workers do not get regular wages, no provident fund, medical facility which has been going on for the last 26 years. Even the management side has not provided any accommodation for the workers.
Senior BJP leader Bhim Karmakar has submitted a Memorandum to SDO (Civil) alleging the anamolies and exploitation at Margherita Segunbari Tea Factory towards the employees. Then Margherita Extra Assistant Commissioner Jharna Patgiri asked SDO(Civil) to probe the allegations which is underway.
