Bengali body demands CBI probe
The All India Bengali Youth Student's Federation (AIBYSF) and All Assam Bengali Youth Student's Federation (BBYSF) will stage sit-in-demonstration on September 7 at Dispur last gate in Guwahati demanding CBI probe into the Silapothar and Nagaon incident.
Speaking the News Conference held at Amala Bhawan in Kokrajhar on Sunday, Shyamal Sarkar, president of All India Bengali Youth Student's Federation and Deepak Dey, president of the Assam state federation demanded stern actions against incidents of Silapothar and Nagaon in the state.
The federation have condemned the Nagaon incident which had created resented among the citizens, said that it was created by some so called activities to indulge misunderstanding in the state. They accused of Chief Minister, who had well known about both incidents held at Silapothar and Nagaon, but yet he has been keeping silence into situations.

The Shukapa Diwas was observed as Asom Divas at Basic Training Centre in Kokrajhar district on Saturday. The programme was organized by Kokrajhar district administration to mark the observation. Security forces belonging to police and army apprehended a linkman of NDFB (S) from Dhanpur area under Kachugaon PS in Kokrajhar district early this morning. Based on information about moving activity of link man,security forces conducted a search operation in the area and a link man of the NDFB(S) was arrested. He died this morning around 7.30am at his residence at Bagansali in Kokrajhar town after prolong illness. He was 70. Sensation grips Kokrajhar following an indiscriminate attack on a RSS leader in the BTAD headquerters on Sunday night. The local RSS leaders sustained injury when unidentified armed miscreants targetted him as he was travelling on a car in the evening. In a shocking incident at Daokitu village a girl committed suicide inside a house in Kokrajhar district on Saturday. According to family sources, the girl who committed suicide was identified as Mainao Basumatary. Sanswrang Mushahary of Bodoland University has been arrested by police on Wednesday evening for alleged molestation charge by 17 students.
