Bengali body demands CBI probe

The All India Bengali Youth Student's Federation (AIBYSF) and All Assam Bengali Youth Student's Federation (BBYSF) will stage sit-in-demonstration on September 7 at Dispur last gate in Guwahati demanding CBI probe into the Silapothar and Nagaon incident.

Speaking the News Conference held at Amala Bhawan in Kokrajhar on Sunday, Shyamal Sarkar, president of All India Bengali Youth Student's Federation and Deepak Dey, president of the Assam state federation demanded stern actions against incidents of Silapothar and Nagaon in the state.

The federation have condemned the Nagaon incident which had created resented among the citizens, said that it was created by some so called activities to indulge misunderstanding in the state. They accused of Chief Minister, who had well known about both incidents held at Silapothar and Nagaon, but yet he has been keeping silence into situations.

Abducted trader Ranjit Dutta rescued today from Koilamoila in Chirang district after 11 days of his kidnapped from Bhawanipur. Dutta, a businesman in Kokrajhar, was kidnapped by unknown miscreants on February 21 from Bhawanipur under Kokrajhar PS. Kokrajhar police has intensified it's search operation against kidnappers after incident along district and it's adjoining areas.
