Bengali body demands CBI probe
The All India Bengali Youth Student's Federation (AIBYSF) and All Assam Bengali Youth Student's Federation (BBYSF) will stage sit-in-demonstration on September 7 at Dispur last gate in Guwahati demanding CBI probe into the Silapothar and Nagaon incident.
Speaking the News Conference held at Amala Bhawan in Kokrajhar on Sunday, Shyamal Sarkar, president of All India Bengali Youth Student's Federation and Deepak Dey, president of the Assam state federation demanded stern actions against incidents of Silapothar and Nagaon in the state.
The federation have condemned the Nagaon incident which had created resented among the citizens, said that it was created by some so called activities to indulge misunderstanding in the state. They accused of Chief Minister, who had well known about both incidents held at Silapothar and Nagaon, but yet he has been keeping silence into situations.

Despite stringent measures smuggling of forest resources refuses to die down. That too in Kokrajhar, the home district of forest minister Pramila Rani Brahma. Local residents in Chitila seized many teak logs brought yo be smuggled outside on Friday wee hours. According to information, acting on information, a group of alert ABMSU activists rushed to the spot where they came too see seven teak logs beside a river which were believed to have been brought to smuggle in Chitilaghop village.
