Bengali body demands CBI probe

The All India Bengali Youth Student's Federation (AIBYSF) and All Assam Bengali Youth Student's Federation (BBYSF) will stage sit-in-demonstration on September 7 at Dispur last gate in Guwahati demanding CBI probe into the Silapothar and Nagaon incident.

Speaking the News Conference held at Amala Bhawan in Kokrajhar on Sunday, Shyamal Sarkar, president of All India Bengali Youth Student's Federation and Deepak Dey, president of the Assam state federation demanded stern actions against incidents of Silapothar and Nagaon in the state.

The federation have condemned the Nagaon incident which had created resented among the citizens, said that it was created by some so called activities to indulge misunderstanding in the state. They accused of Chief Minister, who had well known about both incidents held at Silapothar and Nagaon, but yet he has been keeping silence into situations.

Aynal Haque, a trader of Tulsijhar under Amguri PS of Chirang district was rescued from Nayahat of Dhubri district on Friday morning. According to police, Haque was kidnapped by miscreants on February 17 from Amguri area in Chirang district. The Assam police force is well prepared to thwart any disruptive strike by JMB which is believed to have been trying to make its presence felt in the state.
