Summer journalism workshop held

A day-long summer journalism workshop concluded at Harisinga HS school premises, Tangla  recently. The programme was organized jointly by Assam Press Correspondents' Union (APCU) and Bodoland Journalists' Association (BJA) Udalguri district committee .The programme was inaugurated by journalist  Dipen Deka which was graced as resource person by senior journalist Anjan Goswami,Naren Hazarika editor of Assamese daily 'Dainadin Barta' .

The resource persons enlightned the participamts mostly students on the ethics of journalism and laws regarding that. The programme was lively with performance by members of Lakhikanta Cultural Academy . The programme anchored by Montu Das was attended by Gautamjyoti Talukdar President BJA Udalguri among senior journalists Gunajit Das,Naba Kr. Deka also spoke on the workshop. The participants were also provided with certificate of participation certificates. Naba Kr. Deka APCU member conveyed vote of thanks.
