Protibha Bikash Samoroh held
In an effort to bring out the creativity of childrens of government schools and give them a platform to showcase their talent in dance, art and craft, a daylong programme titled "Protibha Bikash Samoroh" was held at Chatgari MV school premises recently.
Students numbering more than 500 participated in various singing and dancing competitions , seven stalls exhibiting crafts and paintings of childrens were showcased . The programme which iniated with flag hoisting by Beli Ram Baruah Head teacher of Paschim Tangla L.P school was participated by childrens of Chatgari MV school ,Pub-Tangla LP school Pragati Shishu Niketan,Tangla Model L.P school, Tangla Nagar Adharsha L.P. school.
Rastriya hindi L.P. school, Kalibari Shishu Niketan, Paschim Tangla L.P. school and Dakhin Tangla L.P. school .
The cultural programme was inagurated by Dr. Dilip Baruah Principal Tangla HS school. The cultural programme was judged by retired teachers Dharanidhar Medhi, Nabin Ch. Bezbaruah, Hiran Devi among other CRCC members. The exhibition was inagurated by Kameswar Boro CRCC Tangla town.
The students colourful procession and performance on stage was truly a delight to everyone present.

UDALGURI: Based on specific input the Tangla police apprehended a suspected NDFB (S) linkman from Tangla railway station on Tuesday evening.

Gauhati University Inter College Youth Festival, 2019 kicked off at G.U. premises on 1st September with a 4 day long programme.
The festival is being organised by Post Graduate Students’ Union under GU Sports’ Board.
