Tension in Khetri

An electricity post was damaged due to the excavation work going on for construction of the widening process of the proposed four lane road in front of the Khetri Police Station, near Guwahati today. The resulted short-circuit in the electrical post damaged many electronics goods of that area used in the households. Following this, hundreds of angry people gheraowd the Khetri Police Station.

They damaged the excavator used in the construction site. Following that incident, police has been deployed to stop any untoward incident. There is no report of any damage to human.

Creating panic among the common people, a bomb blasted in the Rang-ghar Chariali area, Sivsagar on today afternoon. According to the reports last came in, 10 people have been injured in the blast.
