Capt. Jintu Gogoi memorial motorcycle ride

On July 26, 2008, for the first time in North-East India, a Kargil Day Salute Motorbike Ride from Laipuli, Tinisukia to Khumtai, Golaghat will be held. This event is engineered to pay homage to Captain Jintu Gogoi, and the sacrifices of Kargil War heroes.

According to Kickstart Adventure, this event will revive the enthusiasm of the Youth of Assam who now a days seem to be so busy with their own concerns that Adventurism and Patriotism has taken a back seat. Assamese youth had the power to shake the whole world once, seems to be in a deep slumber. This long distance motorcycle rally is just a small try from www.kickstartadventures.com to awake them towards their duties as a patriotic Assamese and to make them aware of adventure tourism vistas which is a craze all over the world now a days.

Moreover, Kickstart Adventure is pioneering the concept of adventure tourism through motorbike tours in North-East India. Since Jintu Gogoi's birthday is a suitable occasion for such a rally (to symbolize the daring attitude of a youth like Jintu Gogoi possessed), to taken forward with, so as a start-up firm Kickstart Adventure have come up with this as a first initiative.

Another objective of Kickstart Adventure is that for emergence of any economy, the right fuel for growth is Youth Power, and Assamese youth need motivation and inspiration to exploit Assam’s natural bounties and immense potential she has to make itself a world’s best Adventure Tourism zone.

The killing of the rhino at Kaziranga and cutting off its horn by the poacher is condemnable. But the motive behind such killing and the ethics associated with such killing, are something to comment upon. When corruption in the state, from top to bottom, is an open customary way of operation of the state machinery, then these killing acts are reciprocality of the not-so-opportunist to rape the motherland. Instead the killer has taken an opportunity with Mother Nature’s gifts. Assam’s citizens all are mere spectators, reacting upon the “everyday ball being bowled and hit by the bat”. Here are some of the overs which are bowled and scored on a daily basis: How...
When the wind blows, the chaffs get carried away to a state where future lies – for survival and for continuance of its own. The grains where the chaffs existed are present because of the past. And this story is as old as life in this planet. Life evolved, and man appeared with a very unique ability from rest of the animal kingdom, that is the ability to smile. No other animal has this quality. The first settled civilisation of humans in the Jericho bought new orders which evolved the society, got institutionalised, and evolved into a world in which we live now.
