The All Assam Students Union(AASU) demanded full facilities to absorb of all students in the admission in all colleges to gain educational spirits across the state who were passed in final examinations.
The students union warmly welcome and felicitated students,who passed HSLC examination with top rank,distinction and first division holder in Kokrajhar district on Tuesday.
Altogether 56 students were given warm welcome and felicitated with traditional Phulam Gamocha,citation and study materials at a programme organised by Kokrajhar district unit of AASU held at Science College in Kokrajhar.
Nabajyoti Roy,Assistant General Secretary of AASU while attending the programme demanded government should initiate to absorb all students admission in all collges,who were passed in final examinations across the state.He said that students should get healthy opportunity while taking higher studies in the state through which society will be benefited quality education environment among society.He also demanded government should implement that kept promises to provide facilities towards educational development.
Sarmistha Chakraborty,vice-principal of Science College,Nazmul Haque,student leader,Pungkha Brahma,ABSU leader were prominent attendees on the occasion with Subadh Roy,president of Kokrajhar district unit AASU in the chair.
‘We felicitated passed out students,who were brought good result in the district under organisation’s educational programmes.The government should initiate students’ welfare and educational steps to gain educational integration in the state’,said Roy.
