Allegations of rape and molestation put two political leaders in trouble a couple of months before the assembly polls. The first one sensational allegation came to Mandira police station against Boko MLA Gopinath Das who allegedly raped his minor housemaid inside his moving car on Saturday. The incident has forced the victim to flee from the MLA’s residence on Sunday. Her family members have lodged a complaint against the AIUDF MLA.
Yet another allegation of molestation brings no less trouble for a local BJP leader in Nagaon. According to allegations, Doboka BJP leader Radheshyam Sahani allegedly tried to molest a women by dragging a woman into his Bolero car on the road on Sunday.
