Beautiful bird at Nambor

A bird found in hills sings a melancholy song undisturbed at the Nambor Reserve Forest near Silonijan in Golaghat district at dawn of 16th July 2008. Notably Nambor Reserve forest is full of flora and fauna that can be converted into major tourists spot of Assam. The infamous Garampani hot water pond is also one of important spot in the Nambor forest.

Serial bombings crack Assam: over 60 killed, more than 300 injured

After a prolonged lull, once again terrorists have capitalized their angers on Thursday in Assam with a biggest ever bombings that left over 50 killed besides hundreds injured.At least nine blasts have cracked the state in between 11.30 to 12 noon powerful in several places.
