NDFB(S) urges to vote against BJP-AGP

The Songbijit faction the National Democratic Front of Boroland(NDFB-S) slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) for its failure to implement the promised and during the 2014 Lok Sabha election in the state has urged the voters not to vote for BJP and AGP in the ensuing assembly election scheduled on April 4 and 11 next.

BR Ferengga,General Secretary of the NDFB(Songbijit) in a press statement today said that the BJP party could won several seats in the 2014 Lok Sabha election in the state including Mongaldoi,Tejpur, Lakhimpur through the supports extended from militant out and Bodo peoples and able to form government at the centre,but after that the saffron party never think about building welfare of the indigenous peoples of the north bank of Brahmaputra so far.The indigenous including Bodo expected lots of development and solutions of the imbroglio of the Bodo issues,but yet to get good response from the BJP led NDA government in its reality,Ferengga said.

‘After winning large seats in the state Sarbananda Sonowal,State president of BJP, became Union Minister at the centre,who has not paid any attention towards welfare as well affection to Bodos and indigenous peoples.On the other hand,Sarbananda and his party has been allowed 50 lakhs of Islamic Bangaldeshi to grant citizenship in the state without checking their originality.The indigenous peoles like Bodos of the facing hardships following insincerity attitudes from the BJP in their living,so the NDFB(S) declared BJP party as anti-people’,Ferengga said.

The militant outfit leader also criticized the Asom Gana Parishad(AGP) said that the common Bodo peoples had to face severe situation during the AGP regime in 1980 where several Bodo leaders in the party like Rekha Rani Das Boro,Durga Das Boro,Thaneswar Boro were prominent ministers. The NDFB(S) militant outfit has urged the common voters not to vote for the candidates of BJP and AGP in the upcoming assembly election.

A body identified as Jadav Kisku,45, was recovered from Pakriguri village under Salakati police outpost this morning in Kokrajhar.
