ABSU protests answer script gutted in fire
The All Bodo Students Union(ABSU) strongly protests with banner,placards and demanded early nab of involved culprits in protest against answer script of HSLC examination gutted fire in Jorhat on Friday.
Hundreds of students union activists and common publics join hands and shouted sloagans in the sit-in demonstration today organised by Kokrajhar district unit of ABSU at Children Park near DC office in Kokrajhar,demanded justice and early nab of involved culprits,who are behind answer sheet gutted in fire incident.
Swmdwn Brahma,Education Secretary of the Kokrajhar district unit of ABSU expressed union’s anger over answer sheet gutted in fire and termed that government as well SEBA have totally failed to safe students future in the state. He has condemned the answer script paper gutted in fire was unfortunate and unwanted for the state. He has accused of that trhe answer sheet gutted in fire was happened due to failure of SEBA as well as government while giving safe and security. He has demanded involved culprit should be nabbed and punished.

Police have busted a notorious gang of car lifters when three thieves were nabbed in Karbi Anglong districts. Identified as Chemau Kumar Singh,Puyana Nila Kumar and Pangam Pamau Maikel Singh, they were brought to Kokrajhar a day after being captured along with a stolen Bolero from Khotkhoti area near Dimapur on Saturday. The trio had stolen the vehicle bearing registration No AS-16A-4624 from Hatimata area in Kokrajhar on November 25 which belongs to Robin Basumatary. Police investigation started after the owner lodged the FIR with Kokrajhar police and four days after it, Katkoti caught the thieves and recovered the vehicle on Saturday.
Several long-distance trains including Rajdhani express (down 12423) bound for New Delhi stranded over five-hours at Kokrajhar railway station following rail roko agitation at Kamakhyaguri railway station, West Bengal by Merchants on Saturday. The Kokrajhar police interrogated seven persons a day after miscreants kidnapped Kartick Paul from Saralapra on Sunday. All the seven persons are residents of Saralpara area in Bismuri who are being interrogated in this connection.
