Voter awareness rally at Tangla

A voter awareness rally was taken out at Tangla  today by Tangla College students, ASHA and Anganwadi workers with the help of Udalguri district administration. The rally was inagurated by Dimple Baruah, Assistant Commissoner Udalguri.

Speaking to Assam Times, Baruah said that the awareness programme has been undertaken under Systematic Voters Electoral Education Programme (SVEEP) under the pursuance of Election Commission of India. She further said that such awareness rally would be held in Mazbat, Panery and Udalguri in coming days. She urged the young generation to vote and participate in democracy of the country. The rally was also attended by Binoy Medhi retd. professor of Tangla college. Chintu Chakraborty of Tangla College led the students of the college.
