Gwthar Bathow San observed
The Gwthar Bathow San celebration was concluded with two day colorful programme here at Baganshali Bathow Thanshali in Kokrajhar on Tuesday.
The celebration was organized by Bathow Traditional & Cultural Centre, Kokrajhar.
BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary graced as chief guest on the concluding day today.
Mohilary, in his speech lauded the initiatives taking from Bathow religious spirits among Bodos through which the community has a traditional cultural integration.
A prayer session was organized on the occasion with Kham, Shifung, Jotha, Serja musical instruments praying for peace and harmony among society.
The Bathow, a traditional religious festival has been celebrated since forefathers of the Bodo community.
MLA Pramila Rani Brahma, noted writer Nabin Chandra Mandal were present on the occasion.
