One died in mishap

An employee of MRM hospital, identified as Harimahan Narzary,32; died on the spot hit by vehicle late last evening at Debargaon under Kokrajhar police station. 

According to family members, Harimahan was way to Rangalikatha after attending hospital by 7PM late last evening and met mishap where he died on the spot. 

Body of Harimahan wax brought to Kokrajhar for post mortem.

Illegal ABSU unit

The Baksa district committee of the All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) termed the Jopadong anchalik committee, ABSU led by Phulmon Boro was illegal and invalid. Green Kokrajhar mission launches

The Kokrajhar Municipality Board launched its Swach Kokrajhar Mission & Green Kokrajhar Mission today at a function here held at Basic Training Centre in the presence of huge public and officials in Kokrajhar to make the town garbage free zone. Inquiry into question paper leaked

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council(AHSEC) has started its inquiry into ‘Physics’ Question Paper leakage at Grahampur HS school involving two senior officers of the council in Kokrajhar. The question paper anomalies was occurred on February 23 during Physics subject which has forced to postpone the examination. NDFB(S) link men arrested

Police in its operational initiative able to apprehend three link men of the National Democratic Front of Boroland(Songbijit faction) militant outfit from Harjhora area under Bagribari PS in Kokrajhar district today. Six arrested with arms

At-least six persons, apart from an ex-BLT member and Youth BPF leader and three militant cadres from Adavasi Dragon Fighters (ADF) and United Gorkha Peoples Organization (UGPO) were arrested by security forces in Lower Assam’s Kokrajhar and Baksa districts on Thursday.
