A lower court in Titabor has remanded Akhil Gogoi to 14 days judicial custody after the KMSS president was arrested on Sunday.When produced before judicial magistrate in Titabor, Gogoi was sent to the Jorhat Central Jail in the afternoon.The court further asked police to produce the case diary and the documents of medical treatment to the KMSS leader.Gogoi was rushed to the court by an ambulance after being air dashed to Jorhat.The KMSS leader is likely to move a bail petition before the court on Monday. Amid massive security, police shifted Akhil Gogoi to Titabor on Sunday a day after the court allowed transit remand of the KMSS president.At 11 in the morning, Gogoi was taken to Sarusajai to be airlifted to Titabor where police would grill him in connection with two cases pending against him.Gogoi was to be released on Saturday when on Friday he procured bail from Gauhati High Court in cases.Hundreds of KMSS workers staged dharna in front of the Guwahati Central Jail where he was lodged.
