Residents Protest Over Crumbling Desang River Bridge

Serious concern has gripped the residents of Nangalamora area in Sivasagar district following the alarming condition of the Desang River bridge linking Sepon with Sunpura. The bridge, which partially collapsed on January 16, 2022, had since been closed to heavy vehicles. Recently, another portion gave way, leaving the structure open only to two-wheelers.
