Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi said that Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma’s entry into BJP will put the people in utter confusion over the chief ministerial candidate.
Hours after Dr Sarma unofficially joined BJP, Gogoi said that if Sarma is made the chief ministerial candidate then what is in store for Sarbananda Sonowal and Siddharth Bhattacharya.
Talking to reports Gogoi wondered why and how Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma joined BJP a day after he was proud of his party’s victory in the Tiwa autonomous council polls.

In a set back for the opposition consensus candidate Haidor Hussain, independent MLA Jatin Mali made it plain on Wednesday that he would vote for the ruling party candidate.He is believed to have decided not to vote for the AGP-sponsored candidate in the Rajya Sabha polls slated for February 7.
