AASU slams Gogoi, Kalita

AASU vows to intensify protest against the fielding of Dr Sanjay Singh in the upcoming Rajya Sabha polls calling it an insult to the Assamese.

Addressing a press conference in Guwahati on Wedenesday, adviser Dr Samujjal Bhattacharya took on Chief minister Tarun Gogoi and APCC president Bhubneswar Kalita alleging that they don’t want to get an indigenous personality to represent the state in parliament.

The AASU leaders said they would hang the effigies of Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Tarun Gogoi, and Bhubneswar Kalita in public places to be thrown out in on the Brahmaputra.
