Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi said that Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma’s entry into BJP will put the people in utter confusion over the chief ministerial candidate.
Hours after Dr Sarma unofficially joined BJP, Gogoi said that if Sarma is made the chief ministerial candidate then what is in store for Sarbananda Sonowal and Siddharth Bhattacharya.
Talking to reports Gogoi wondered why and how Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma joined BJP a day after he was proud of his party’s victory in the Tiwa autonomous council polls.

NAMRUP: The local residents in Namrup rescued a stranger in dire strait on Friday who is now battling for life at the Assam Medical College in Dibrugarh. Ramesh Murmu, a local resident discovered the unidentified person at the railway station premises in the morning and passed the information to the railway police. Then a local pharmacist offered him primary treatment before sending him to the state dispensary. Then finally he was rushed to the Assam Medical College Hospital for better treatment. GUWAHATI:A mild 4.0 intensity earthquake has shaken Assam and it's neighbouring north eastern states striking no less panic among the people on Friday.
