Who is BJP's CM candidate: Gaurav

Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi said that Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma’s entry into BJP will put the people in utter confusion over the chief ministerial candidate.

Hours after Dr Sarma unofficially joined BJP, Gogoi said that if Sarma is made the chief ministerial candidate then what is in store for Sarbananda Sonowal and Siddharth Bhattacharya.

Talking to reports Gogoi  wondered why and how Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma joined BJP a day after he was proud of his party’s victory in the Tiwa autonomous council polls.

KOKRAJHAR: The police have arrested Budhiram Hembrom a month after he allegedly killed Gohai Murmu in Dhordhora village near Kachugaon in Kokrajhar district.  According to police, Hembrom is the prime accused in the sensational murder case registered in Kachugaon PS case no. 65/2017 u/s 302 IPC r/w Sec. 27 Arms Act) in the intervening night of 12 December.  He was arrested from his house and the  countrymade rifle used in the murder was seized from his possession.
