A local lower court in Guwahati remanded Ranjit Gogoi to three days police custody after police probing the ₹30 crore ad scam arrested the publicity and public relations director alleging his involvement in it. Gogoi was arrested after marathon interrogation by a team of top ranked police officers who did not received satisfactory reply and wanted his custodial interrogation.
