AAP holding maha rally in Delhi against Centre

New Delhi: The AAP is holding a huge rally in New Delhi on June 11 to oppose a controversial ordinance that would allegedly snatch the state government's power. According to party posters in the nooks and corners of the capital city, the rally will take place in the Ramlila Ground where the top party leaders will seek the support of the people to keep the ordinance at bay. AAP supremo and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has been trying to unite the Opposition party to oppose the Bill in the Rajya Sabha where NDA falls short of numbers. Delimitation draft ready

New Delhi: A committee set up for delimitation of the state assembly constituencies have finalized its draft and has submitted before the home ministry. Some constituencies have been diluted while some others have been added without disturbing the total number of seats. Clause VI panel feels let down, report sent to department

New Delhi: In a major setback for the BJP-led coalition government in the state,  the Centre is unlikely to endorse the recommendations of the panel set up to suggest the implementation of the Clause VI of the Assam Accord,  1985. This has forced the committee to hand over the report in the Assam Accord implementation department on Wednesday. Citizenship Bill report on Monday

The joint parliamentary committee set up to study the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016 will table its report to Parliament on Monday.
