ABSU to organise free coaching

The All Bodo Students’ Union (ABSU) has been organising one year full time free coaching for UPSC,CSAT and MAINS exam, especially for IAS/IPS and other allied services from August next for the inspiring students of BTAD as well as districts of Assam.

 In a press release, Romeo P Narzary, General Secretary of the students union on Friday said that the students union has been organising free coaching to create quality production and result oriented, success, will conduct a selection test for selection of the candidates on July 13next. Registration forms will be availabled in all the examination centers and concern district ABSU offices for all categories of candidates from 18th June to 1stJuly . The last date of submission of forms is 1st July and admits card will be issued from 7th July to 11th July.

He said that the selection test will have two papers paper 1(simple English for 50 marks, basic Mathematics’ 50 marks, Science and Technology 50 Marks) = 150 Marks, Paper 2 (GK/ Current affairs 75 marks, Social Science 75 Marks = 150 Marks total Marks 300. OMR answer sheet will be given for answering the questions. The examination centres are Gossaigaon College, Kokrajhar Govt. College, UNB  College, Kajalgaon, Bijni College , Salbari College, Mushulpur College, Tamulpur College, Rongiya College, Tangla College, Udalguri College and centre for Sanitpur district, Lakimpur district, Dhemaji district, Guwahati district, Goalpara district and Karbi Anglong district will be notified later before the exam. Students of TDC last semester, any graduate and post graduate can apply for the selection test. The coaching will start from August 1st week next with an orientation programme and full time coaching from September, supply of study materials, guidance and accommodation will be provided.  Learned and experienced faculties from the state and outside state are expected to join the coaching classes.
