Bwiswmuthiary released manifesto

Four times sitting MP and Independent candidate from No. 5 Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency Sansuma Khunggur Bwiswmuthiary released his election manifesto at Kokrajhar Press Club
in Kokrajhar on Monday.
The manifesto highlights the issues of human resource building among the people in the constituency. It includes providing safety and security to the life and properties of the common public, solution of all militancy problems through political dialogue in the north eastern region. He also stressed on healthy democracy in the region among various communities.

The demand for separate Bodoland state also figures prominently in the manifesto.   
 The manifesto also stressed on providing equal rights and distribution of all round development among different caste and communities, sustaining peace and development, extending helping hand to the demand of constitutional rights to the indigenous peoples etc.
Bwiswmuthiary expressed his confident said that his victory is very much sanguine in the election as mass peoples are supporting him. He also said that as a sitting MP he had help in release of various projects amounting over Rs  200 crores in his constituency as well BTC region through various centre funds to build and meet educational, social development during his tenure as an MP through which many bridge, protection of floods and erosion were constructed in the region’.

Bwiswmuthiary as alleged that Hagrama Mohilary BPF led BTC administration of indulging in huge corruptions in the council due to  which common peoples are depriving from their equal distributions of funds meant for them, he said adding that  there is no any democracy philosophy in the BPF  party and there is no ideology in the party in collective decision.

 Meanwhile, sitting Transport minister and BPF candidate Chandan Brahma has also campaigned his candidature at various places under Bijni LAC in Chirang district. He addressed five campaign meeting o Monday under Bijni sub-division including Panbari, Borobazar, Ballamguri, Kuklung Hadan, Bishupur and Koilamoila and promises for building up healthy social development and integration in the constituency. He has claimed said that all communities and organizations are supporting on his candidature and no any candidate is able to influence on his win in the election.

Security forces have intensified their combing operation against militant outfits in the region.  Three link men/over ground worker of the National Democratic Front of Boroland-Songbijit faction were apprehended by security forces in a joint operation at Ripu Reserve Forest on Sunday morning in Kokrajhar district. Over 15 shops along the Fakiragram main Bazar in Lower Assam’s Kokrajhar district have turned into ashes.  The fire damaged worth of nearly 50 lakhs properties following fire in gutted on Friday late night. A businessman was hospitalized after attacked with sharp weapon by miscreants at Champa bazaar area on Friday evening in Kokrajhar district. An emergency response mock drill was conducted by the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) at Habrubari in Kokrajhar district on Friday,which was a part of offsite emergency mock on the IOCL Guwahati-Siliguri underground pipeline to test the preparedness of its emergency personnel.
