Monkey 'terror' in Shabajpur

Hojai:- People of Shabajpur area in Murajhar under Hojai District are living in panic these days due to havoc created by monkeys in the area.Since last 4-5 days several monkeys have created sensation in the area.As Per some local resident's," Due to monkeys menace they are not able to sleep, every time fear of monkeys remains because they invade their homes in search of food in night hours.They even cannot get out of their house because of attacks of monkeys as such children's of the area are unable to go the school. Denizens of the area has urged forest department to deploy a team to handle the situation and cage the monkeys, later release them in forest.

Body of 14 years old Sumit Baspor S/O Sambhu Baspor and resident of Harijan Colony rescued on Saturday Morning. Twenty-year-old boy brutally murdered

In a sensational incident, one Ramanand Bora (20) was killed by his neighbour at Dakhin Bidyanagar in Hojai on Friday night. As per information, neighbour Deepak Rajkhowa repeatedly stabbed Ramanand with a sharp weapon.
