Sivasagar district chess players selection will be held on July 25-27 at the employee welfare auditoriam of ONGC, Nazira. District chess players will be selected from this competition for the forthcoming inter district competition at Nagaon in October 2012. Draft Electoral Roll Published for Sivasagar District; Total Voters at 5.72 Lakh

The draft electoral roll for the three Assembly constituencies of Sivasagar district—Demow, Sivasagar and Nazira—was published on December 27, officials said. As per official data, the total number of voters across the district’s three constituencies stands at 5,72,219.
