Photography competition - Anuronon

A photography competition-cum-exhibition titled "Anuronon" was organised by Antorik Learning Hub for young people on July 7 at Bharalumukh, Guwahati. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Buljit Buragohain, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Girjananda Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT). Participants from different institution and other profession exhibited their photographs in the event. Photo journalist Vikramjit Kakoti judged the competition. Nassif Mohammad Ali, of Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi and Mijinksa Daimary of IIT-Guwahati won 1st and 2nd prizes respectively.

Kakoti delivered an insightful lecture on the pros and cons of photography and opined on photographs displayed in the exhibition. There was an interactive session with chief guest Dr. Buljit Buragohain on career prospects by the participants and the students of Antorik Learning Hub which added an extra edge to the program

RJ Rajkonwor of Red FM and Bhaskar Mukharjee, Asst. Manager of Copyright Society for Sound Recording (IMI) were also present among the dignified guests.
