    UN team visits Raha

A team of 3 member delegate from United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan,New Delhi today visited 'Akonir Kabita Ghar',an NGO working for the development of Children, Raha to know the activities done by the NGO for the children of Raha and its neighbouring areas.

"The team from UN Information Centre for India and Bhutan comprised of two people, Mrs. Kiran Mehra-Kerpelman, Director and Sanjana Subramanian. Mr. Aswini Sarma  from the UNA Resource Centre for North East and the Executive Director of Institute of UN Studies in Assam accompanied

The team praised the novel approaches carried by the Children Organization towards the all round development for children community. The team was welcomed by Abani Saikia, Head, Rantu Mudoi, secretary  of Akonir Kabita Ghar.
