Dead body of a forester (grade-1) Thaneshwar Borah was found under the Silasaku Bridge, Garmur of Nazira. Borah was working as a forester of Bihubor Beat Office, Nazira and he was returning home by his own motor cycle (AS04 G4209) at 7 P.M. On November 16, but he did not reach home. Local people found his dead body at 5 A.M. On November 17 and informed the nearest police station at Simaluguri.

The International Women's Day is observed today at Bihubor. It was organized by Bihubor Siloni Mahila Surakhya Sommittee Pragati Mahila Mancha -a unit of the NGO Pragati Nazira and NaziraMahkuma Mahila Somittee.
