ONGC-Supported Multi-Specialty Hospital Inaugurated in Sivasagar

Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Puri inaugurated the ONGC-supported Siu Ka Pha Multi Specialty Hospital in Sivasagar, Assam, on November 4, 2023. The hospital, built with a total investment of Rs 483.19 crore, is a state-of-the-art facility with 300 beds and a team of 70 specialized doctors. It will offer a comprehensive range of medical services, including Orthopaedics, Trauma, Paediatric & NICU, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, ENT, Skull base Surgery, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, and advanced diagnostics.

The hospital will be managed and operated by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Vaidyakiya Pratisthan (BAVP). It is expected to provide healthcare services to over one lakh patients annually and significantly enhance the healthcare capacity of not only Upper Assam but the entire Northeast India.

The ONGC Siu-Ka-Pha Multi Specialty Hospital is a groundbreaking addition to the healthcare landscape of Assam and the surrounding regions.
