AASU warns govt on rehabilitation

All Assam Students Union has warned the government not to allow the immigrants to settle in the name of rehabilitation package. Addressing a press conference in Guwahati on Sunday, the AASU leaders said that they would keep a close vigil on the rehabilitation works to ensure that not even a single immigrant is allowed to get the benefit.

Bodo must look after themselves, do not fall to sweet talk of Gogoi, Sonia or Shinde. They will butcher Bodos for vote bank. We all know about AIUDF, a terrorist organization. Ajmal gets money from ISI and Saudi Arabia to bribe Congress and help to bring more Bangladeshi to Assam. Bodo's must fight for their survival or we will be wiped out by this invasion.

Guwahati in grip of feline terror again

A pregnant woman along with two others sustained serious injury when a leopard pounded on them in Guwahati on Friday. The incident took place in the morning in Lokhora. The two year old leopard caused panic when it wandered into the densely populated residential area in Guwahati. It was later tranquilised by forest officials before being taken to the zoo. Bomb recovered in Sonari

Utter sensation prevails in Sonari after security forces recovered a crude bomb on Thursday morning. The bomb was kept inside a bag and was planted in Dihgalipukhuri which was spotted by the security forces. The bomb was recovered just before the unfurling of the national tricolor in the morning. Later it was defused. But the local residents are preferring to keep themselves confined to their homes.
