The blazing forms of captain Mohender Singh Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh have pave the way for the Team India’s victory in the First Indo-Pak ODI series on Monday in Guwhati.
The boys in blue won by 5 wickets which builds them confidence for the day-night ODI at Mohali.
The duo placed the team India in a very very comfortable position as the batsmen due seemed to score runs at will against a formidable bowling attack.
Indian skipper MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh made some astounding shot to make the victory more comfortable.
Earlier, Shahid Afridi bowled Gambhir for 44, to bring Pakistan back into the match. The loss of Gambhir’s wicket came just as he & Dhoni were beginning to stabilise the innings after Ganguly’s dismissal. Yuvaj Singh joined MS Dhoni for the most crucial phase of the match.
The Indian skipper M S Dhoni scored highest 63 followed by Yuvraj Singh 58. Saurav Ganguly scores 39 and Sachin Tendulkar was back to the pavilion after scoring a dismal 4 run. Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat.
