The blazing forms of captain Mohender Singh Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh have pave the way for the Team India’s victory in the First Indo-Pak ODI series on Monday in Guwhati.

The boys in blue won by 5 wickets which builds them confidence for the day-night ODI at Mohali.

The duo placed the team India in a very very comfortable position as the batsmen due seemed to score runs at will against a formidable bowling attack.

Indian skipper MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh made some astounding shot to make the victory more comfortable.

Earlier, Shahid Afridi bowled Gambhir for 44, to bring Pakistan back into the match. The loss of Gambhir’s wicket came just as he & Dhoni were beginning to stabilise the innings after Ganguly’s dismissal. Yuvaj Singh joined MS Dhoni for the most crucial phase of the match.

The Indian skipper M S Dhoni scored highest 63 followed by Yuvraj Singh 58. Saurav Ganguly scores 39 and Sachin Tendulkar was back to the pavilion after scoring a dismal 4 run. Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat.

The entry began at around 6 as the match begins at 8-30 in the morning.
All the VVIPs and VIPs have already arrived in the venue.

Thousands of people are also thronging on the roadside from the Hotel Brahmaputra Ashok right to the Nehru Stadium to get a glimpse of the players.

Rangapara back normal

Rangapara is back to normalcy. The curfew has been relaxed for several hours but tension still prevails. Police, army and para miltary troops are still patrolling on the streets apprehending any untoward incident.The curfew was clamped on November 28 following large scale violence in the area between Adivasi people and local residents during protest by the Adivasi people which left several people injured besides many vehicles damaged.

The missing of Mihir Biswas is shrouded with mystery even as the police is still remaining clueless.According to information, Mr Biswas was arrested by Dispur police in a cheating case bearing No IPC 420/423/406. Besides he is allegedly involved in the sale of Labu Niwas in Rukmininagar duping a few people. A couple of months ago, he sold the parking space of the Saraswati Apartment near Gansemandir. Beltola violence: Govt to order CBI probe

The Assam government will order a CBI probe in to the recent mob violence at Beltola, Guwahati.Disclosing this, Assam Chief Minister said on Saturday that the CBI probe will unearth what went wrong.
