Three KPLT ultras nabbed at Bakaliaghat


Three KPLT ultras were apprehended by State police and 3rd Jammu and Karshmir Riffles from three separate places today in Karbi Anglong. According to police sources, on the basis of specific information received, a joint operation was launched early morning on Friday by Assam police and security forces.


During the operation, two KPLT cadres like Babu Tisso and Babu Ronghang were apprehended respectively from Uttar Phonglokphet and Sampathar under Bakaliaghat police station by the joint operation team.


On the other hand, one KPLT cadre who was identified as Raju Tisso was nabbed from Diphu area yesterday at around 6.30 pm and on the basis of his confession, the two cadres were managed to nab from the two separate aforesaid places, the police sources said.


Six live ammunitions, three mobile handsets, cash amount Rs 4500 and incriminative documents were recovered from their possession, the police sources added.
