There was an explosion on railway track near Tunnel no 11 at Mahur last night caused minor damage to the railway line. The Deputy Commissioner Dima Hasao District Shri Dilip Borthakur, I.A.S. and ADC. Shri Khanindra Chowdhury, ACS ceremonially flagged off the Chief Minister Gyanjyoti Programme/2011 at Circuit House Haflong at 7 A.M on 19TH October, 2011. Altogether 48 (forty eight) students from various parts of the district participated in the programme. Out of which 28 are boys and 20 are girls. The team is led by Shri R.K. Laskar, ACS, Election Officer, Dima Hasao Haflong, two Teachers, including Medical Team accompanied by Police Officer along with Constables.
