The Dharna was also participated by Senior Citizens, members of NGOs and other local bodies. They were demanding immediate solution to the Anna’s demand.

Later, they also submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister of India through the Deputy Commissioner, Dima Hasao District.

The memorandum maintained that amidst staging a fast on 23rd August, 2011 (from 7.00 A.M to 5.00 P.M ) in front of the office of Deputy Commissioner, Haflong as a token of support to Anna Hazare and his team's "Anashan " to get Jan Lokpal Bill passed in the Parliament; the Dima Hasao Autonomous State Demand Committee (ASDC), ASDC Mahila Sangathan, Dimasa Women Society submited the memorandum in brief in this matter.
